Rohan Mehta

Rohan Mehta has spent twenty-two years in media finance across print, broadcast and subscription businesses, latterly as chief financial officer of a listed regional broadcaster.

He joined Montlior Group as Group Chief Financial Officer in 2021 and was appointed an executive director in the same year. He is responsible for the Group’s capital allocation framework, which appraises editorial investment over a ten-year horizon rather than the three years conventional in the sector.

He leads the Group’s relationship with its shareholders and analysts, and has maintained the practice of publishing the Group’s cost of newsgathering as a separate disclosure — a line item most competitors fold into administrative expenses.
